no matter what the season and what the weather, always bring your own sunshine :-)

* der Winter = winter (pay attention to the German pronunciation)

 

 

* der (masculine)  is a definite article.

Definite articles in German are very important because when used in a sentence, German nouns and pronouns take cases which depend on the definite articles.
